Depending on Qualifications

Degree and area of specialization:

Bachelor's degree in instructional design, curriculum and instruction, science education, agriculture education, adult education, education psychology, or a related academic discipline.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

-Knowledge and application of learner-focused instructional design principles
-Demonstrated ability to develop innovative instructional approaches to presenting agricultural and natural resources concepts
-Exceptional written, verbal, critical thinking, problem solving, and interpersonal communication skills
-Experience creating videos with emphasis on script and storyboard development
-Ability to exhibit creativity, self-direction and the capacity for independent work, and organizational skills

License or Certificate:

Position Summary:

The primary focus of the instructional design position will be to work collaboratively with the Training Coordinator, Editor, Graphic Designers and Subject Matter Experts to design learner-focused, performance-based learning solutions to meet project needs.

Additional Information:

This position shall be given an initial 6-month fixed term terminal appointment. This position may be extended up to a 24-month fixed term terminal appointment or may be converted to a renewable appointment depending on program needs and funding availability.

A Criminal Background Check (CBC) will be required for this position.
