Degree and area of specialization:

Masters Degree in Psychology or relevant area required. Demonstrated expertise in area of specialization required. Ph.D. or ABD in Psychology strongly preferred.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

It is the policy of the Department of Psychology to give preference to the hiring of the department's dissertators and new Ph.D. graduates for all non-renewable lecturer positions. Preference is given to those who have recent university teaching experience.

Position Summary:

Teach for the Department of Psychology during the Spring 2019 semester. The position will teach one or more of the following courses or a similar course in the department at the foundation, breadth, or capstone level.
Psychology 202 - Introduction to Psychology
Psychology 210 - Basic Statistics for Psychology
Psychology 405 - Abnormal Psychology
Psychology 460 - Child Development
Psychology 601 - Current Topics in Psychology

Additional Information:

There is a possibility this position can be extended in subsequent semesters to teach one or more of course(s) listed on this PVL, or similar courses within the department. This position may become renewable if there is a need for an ongoing appointment.
