The Position

The College of Nursing and Health Professions at Lewis University, invites applications for a full-time, tenure track faculty member to teach in the Department of Graduate Studies, with a focus on the MSN and DNP program.  Lewis University serves a diverse student population and community and we invite applications from individuals that embody a commitment to diversity.

Primary responsibilities of this position include teaching, curriculum development, implementation and evaluation, research/scholarship and service.  This position is at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank.

Qualifications

Doctorate in nursing or related field required. Master’s of Science in Nursing required. Licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Illinois or eligibility for same with application in process also required.  The equivalent of three years full-time clinical nursing experience plus two years of full-time teaching experience preferred. Clinical expertise in gerontology is preferred.
