Advertised Job Summary: The Stewardship Coordinator ensures the development, implementation and operation of a comprehensive stewardship program that strengthens long-term relationships with key stakeholders through donor-centric engagement that inspires future support of USC Upstate's strategic priorities. - Oversight of all donor communications, including execution and revision of gift acknowledgement letters, gift solicitations, society mailings, scholarship updates, etc. - Manage the design and creation of donor plaques, walls, graphics, signage and recognition pieces; inventory and track naming opportunities, update donor walls. - Direct and manage, in conjunction with the Office of Special Events, donor-related events and activities to create meaningful, donor-centric experiences (gift celebrations, donor dinner, scholarship luncheon, private events, etc.). - Develop and operationalize recognition plans in collaboration with development staff for donors at various giving levels, including the implementation of formal giving circles; ensure details of the stewardship plans are compiled and communicated to all involved parties and the plan is documented in the moves management system. - Compose personal acknowledgment and stewardship letters for signature by executives, staff, board members, and key volunteers. - Prepare summaries that serve as background for executive meetings and conversations with major donors; author, edit and distribute impact and financial reports on endowed funds and other gifts. - Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions): Master's degree and 1 year related program experience or a bachelor's degree and 3 years related program experience. Successful background check is required.
