Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's degree required. Emphasis in social sciences, public health, bioinformatics, computer science, or related field preferred. Bilingual fluency preferred.



Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

Assignment to title is dependent on number of years of experience. An ideal candidate will possess a fundamental understanding of the research process and clinical trials research, in particular. Experience working successfully in a fast paced, high volume clinical research setting is preferred. Robust phlebotomy skills are strongly preferred. Experience with Institutional Review Board (human subjects) research submissions is also preferred.

Position Summary:

The All of Us (AoU) Research Coordinator joins a team of a dozen professionals working on implementation of the AoU Research Program at the UW and in a diverse array of community settings in south central and southeastern parts of the state. The team operates on a continuum from alerting the public about the opportunity, fielding questions about participation, assisting individuals who wish to participate, and ensuring the data collection is done in accordance with the national program and protocol. The RC has primary responsibility for preparing for and creating spaces in which the AoU participant experiences the in-person visit. Preparation include all aspects of the study start-up process, including development and approval of study schedules, study specific documentation, recruitment methods and materials, and research setting set up. AoU RCs ensure that the study is carried out in strict accordance with the protocol, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and make appropriate operational decisions with guidance from the AoU @ UW Research Project Manager (RPM) to ensure participant comfort, safety and data quality. Additional Information:

This position is part of the All of Us Wisconsin UW site team within the UW Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR) and its Collaborative Center for Health Equity. UW ICTR is part of a network of nearly 60 US institutions holding NIH Clinical and Translational Science Awards, and reflects a partnership of the UW Schools of Medicine and Public Health, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Veterinary Medicine; the UW College of Engineering; and the Marshfield Clinic Research Institute.

Excellent verbal and written skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel are required. Must be able to work well independently as well as on a team. The successful candidate will be detailed oriented and possess excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and organizational skills. The successful candidate will be willing to travel to/from AoU program sites for recruitment enrollment activities occurring throughout South Central and South Eastern Wisconsin; evening and weekend hours will be required.

Hire will be subject to criminal and caregiver background checks.

This is a fixed term terminal 2 year appointment. There is a possibility the position would be converted to renewable position depending on need and funding.
