SCHOOL OF THE MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS: Graphic Design Beginner

Part-time Lecturer (non-tenure-track)

Position description: The School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts is seeking a part-time lecturer to teach a beginning Graphic Design class. This Continuing Education course is also open to Tufts students other than those working towards BFA degrees.

Qualifications:

MFA, MDes, or MAGD preferred. Classroom teaching experience is required; and, ideally, candidates will have some prior experience teaching graphic design or visual communication design. Candidates must also demonstrate that they are able to teach students how words, images, motion, and sound work together to produce effective communication pieces in both print and digital media.

In addition, two confidential letters of reference must be submitted directly by their authors.
