Part Time Faculty Search – SMFA Continuing Education Spring 2019- to teach

Web Design: Introduction

Web Design: Intermediate

The SMFA at Tufts is looking for a part-time instructor for the Spring 2019 semester to teach Introduction to Web Design and Intermediate Web Design. Both courses are open to both degree and continuing-education students.

Candidates must have at least a bachelor's degree, as well as the skills necessary to plan, organize, design, and build a modern standards-compliant web site, including mastery of HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript and fluency in flex, Bootstrap, Github, Angular, or another framework and familiarity with other current front-end tools. Ideally, candidates will also have some prior experience with digital-imaging software such as Adobe Photoshop. Classroom teaching experience is required.
