Clinical Assistant Professor, Nutrition & Food Sciences
The Department of Nutrition and Food Sciences at the University of Rhode Island invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor (non-tenure-track) position for the 2018-19 academic year. Appointment: January 2019.
Teach 3 undergraduate courses per year including General Nutrition (NFS 207) and Public Health Nutrition (NFS 212G) and Food, Nutrition, and People (NFS 276G). Direct the University of Rhode Island’s successful Nutrition Cooperative Extension Program including EFNEP (Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program). Lead an effective team of nutrition educators to deliver high-quality, evidence-based nutrition programs for the state of Rhode Island including underserved and diverse populations. This position requires grant development for nutrition programming and overall administration of Cooperative Extension programs that may include some responsibilities in the summer. Summer salary is contingent on grant funding.
