Research Assistant I
The Flint Center for Health Equity Solutions is seeking a full time research assistant to assist with The Church Challenge, a faith-based multilevel physical activity and nutrition intervention for blood pressure reduction among primarily African-American churches in Flint, Michigan.
Responsibilities in this position include:
• Assisting with data collection, data entry, and database management
• Screening research participants for study eligibility
• Attending intervention activities
• Tracking participant engagement
• Assisting project coordinator with research-related tasks
• Preparing and revising project manuals
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in Public Health or other related field; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in public health or social science research; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Desired Qualifications
1+ year experience with research and data collection is desired but not required.
Software usage such as Qualtrics, or SPSS and Microsoft Office.Required Application Materials
