The Nudge4 Solutions Lab at the University of Virginia seeks a Research Specialist Intermediate. The Research Specialist Intermediate will perform statistical analyses to support research projects and partnerships, including analyses of people's higher education and workforce participation and the impact of interventions on educational attainment and workforce success.
Our projects focus on a range of policy issues from increasing college completion to improving prisoner re-entry outcomes, and involve active collaboration with a range of agencies and organizations.
The Nudge4 Solutions Lab was founded in 2016 by Professor Ben Castleman to create scalable solutions to society's biggest challenges by leveraging behavioral insights, data science, interactive technologies, and deep practitioner partnerships. Our current areas of focus are education, criminal justice, veterans benefits, and workforce development.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong statistical skills and understanding of causal research methods is required. Experience using statistical software packages and a proven ability to follow established research procedures are also required. Strong oral and written communication skills, well organized and an attention to detail are all necessary.
