Augusta University is seeking to fill a tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of Mathematics to begin in August 2019. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Mathematics and research expertise in discrete mathematics. Preference will be given to candidates with research interests in applied areas of discrete mathematics. Candidates should have demonstrated potential to maintain an active research program, which will allow them to pursue external funding, and a commitment to excellence in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The typical teaching load is 15 credit hours per academic year.
Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. To be considered for a position at the rank of associate professor, candidates should have a nationally recognized research presence.
