Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. Preferably in biological sciences, social sciences or health-related field. Experience working on adolescents and young adults will be beneficial.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

At least two years of research experience in a public health, community, or clinical health care setting is required.
Experience in quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis is required. Excellent verbal and written skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint are required, as evidenced by posters and papers. Relevant work experience in grant writing and mixed-methods research is essential. Demonstrated ability to work well independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. The candidate should be detailed oriented, and possess exceptional attention to detail, interpersonal, problem-solving and organizational skills.

Position Summary:

The position will support the research program of Dr. Olufunmilola Abraham, a researcher in the Social & Administrative Sciences Division of the School of Pharmacy. The studies she conducts seek to understand develop innovative interventions to improve medication use and health for adolescents and young adults. She studies how game-based technologies and pharmacists can be used to improve medication use and health in the community.

Additional Information:

Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required for recruitment and consenting participants.
Travel is required for this position. You must qualify to use a UW-Madison fleet vehicle by
possessing a valid driver's license and meeting risk management standards, or have the ability to provide own transportation that meets UW-Madison risk management standards.
The appointment percentage may vary based on funding and research needs.
