Position Summary: The Project Manager will oversee daily operations for a complex, NIH-funded clinical trial to evaluate an innovative transitional care intervention for seriously ill adults discharged from a skilled nursing facility to home. The Project Manager will have primary responsibility or oversight in three core areas. (1) Communicate with clinical staff in six nursing homes and a home health care agency. (2) With the PI, implement the intervention protocol in the nursing homes and home health care agency. (3) Manage multiple other activities related to conducting the clinical trial. Other activities will include budget, personnel, collection and management of study data, quality assurance, regulatory reporting and general study management. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for all study matters. He or she will work closely with the entire research team, including the Principal Investigator (PI), co-investigators, graduate/post-doctoral students, statisticians, skilled nursing facility staff, home health nurses, and data collectors. As the primary point of contact, the Project Manager will coordinate work necessary to develop study procedures and tools, and to assure timely study progress, communication and documentation. The Project Manager will also assist the research team with dissemination of study products, including abstracts and manuscripts.

Qualification and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training or experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
