FSU College of Criminology and Criminal Justice.


Provides support to student services in the College of Criminology and Criminal Justice. Performs general reception and administrative duties. This position is the main point of contact for criminology majors visiting student services for advising and for the main criminology phone line. Coordinates student meetings with advisors using Skype for Business to correspond with advisors for availability. Maintains and creates various excel spreadsheets and reports. Maintains and files confidential student files. Maintains classroom and conference room calendars. Researches, gathers and reports information as needed.


High school diploma/equivalent.
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Perform accurately in a detail oriented environment.
Prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously
Understand and follow written and oral instructions with little to no supervision.
Utilize problem solving skills.
Ability to work independently.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and knowledge with Outlook.


A Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience working in an office setting/environment is also preferred.

Anticipated Salary Range

The expected salary is $10.00 per hour.

Pay Plan

This is an OPS/temporary Job.


If not otherwise specified, schedule is M-F, 8-5.

Criminal Background Check

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check. The background check will be conducted as authorized and in accordance with University Policy 4-OP-C-7-B11.
