STUDENT AFFAIRS COORDINATOR, School of Dental Medicine, Student Affairs

The Student Affairs Coordinator is responsible for program management and supporting the 800+ predoctoral and postdoctoral students in all student-related programming, project and events. Areas of job responsibility include the management and administration of the tutoring program, the Predental shadowing programing, student organizations, and implementation of non-academic policies and student communications. Provides administrative support for the Associate Dean, Director of Educational Resources, Director of Student Affairs, and Career Resources Manager.

Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred; 1-3 year of experience in higher education, preferable in student affairs/ student support services; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Strong attention to detail; Project management capabilities; Customer service orientated; Ability to work collaboratively and creatively; Interest in working with students in higher education, particularly with graduate, international, and non-traditional student populations, Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Google Applications, event scheduling resources management systems. Occasional weekday evenings, weekend, early morning hours required.
