Director DFA Information Technology Services

This position is responsible for providing vision, leadership, planning, project coordination and management of all Division of Finance (DFA) information technology systems (ITS) and projects, with the exception of Office of Institutional Research and Budget & Planning, ensuring efficient operations and accurate data analytics and reporting capabilities to meet current and future business needs within DFA.

DFA is comprised of 13 unique business department units. DFA ITS serves as a strategic center responsible for planning and implementing strategic ITS initiatives across the entire Division.

This position is responsible for ensuring successful selection, implementation and delivery of DFA technology systems and services to users. This position partners with DFA Departments/Units and its clients to analyze work process design and flow, improve processes, and leverages the return on technological capabilities. This position also builds project plans, ensures adherence to project schedules, maintains a systems orientation and works effectively with peers to set technology priorities and conduct long-term planning. This position provides DFA representation, technical and project management performance oversight for major DFA IT projects, campus IT projects where DFA is a partner, or system-wide initiatives that may impact DFA. This position works in close coordination with Campus Office of Technology (OIT) establishing priorities for DFA ITS projects at the direction of the Executive Director and the Vice Chancellor. This position also serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional area and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.

Salary: Commensurate with Experience
Total Hours: 8-5, M-F
