Campus SOC Coordinator

Under the general supervision of the Deputy Registrar, manage the quarterly production of the Schedule of Classes (SOC). Independently implement the process, including communication with department schedulers and use of scheduling applications (eSOC and R25). Create timeline for the development of each term's schedule. Resolve room conflicts for General Assignment Classrooms (GACs). Ensure course entries in eSOC match course as approved by the Academic Senate's Subcommittee on Courses. Act as the backup for summer scheduling. Based on utilization rate, classroom availability, number of courses offered and other factors, make recommendations on changes in scheduling priority to the Deputy Registrar. Train staff and faculty in eSOC and R25. Develop and maintain eSOC instructions. Perform scheduling and classroom use research and investigate new scheduling software.

Salary: Hourly $23.58
Total Hours: 8-5, M-F
