Senior Research Compliance Analyst

Under the general direction of the Research Compliance Officer, performs comprehensive audits of IRB-approved University research protocols on research activities conducted at the UC Irvine Health sites, utilizing related research support systems, e.g. UCIMC-EMR systems, CTMS, IRB database, etc. Works directly with the Research Compliance Officer, department managers, research staff, faculty, and students to help guide department level clinical research processes to compliant outcomes. In that capacity, this position acts as an advocate for department compliance and serves as a consultant to departments engaged in human subject research.
Raises and maintains compliance awareness within departments, identifies and addresses risk areas, supports a proactive approach toward resolving potential compliance issues, and refers issues to the Research Compliance Officer. Independently develops educational materials, presents educational information to groups and assists other areas of the research unit in staff training to enhance clinical research outcomes.

Salary: Monthly $4,968.58 - $6,755.83
Total Hours: 8-5, M-F
Career Position.
Reliable transportation to UC Irvine research sites in Orange County.
Final candidate subject to background check.
