Senior Superintendent, Plant Operations

Under the direction of the Asst. Director, Plant Operations, the Senior Superintendent of Plant Operations plans, organizes, and directs the activities of supervisory personnel in the operation and preventative maintenance of the Central Plant, building mechanical equipment, High Voltage equipment, and analysis of equipment efficiency. Co-ordinates preventative maintenance development and multi-craft work. Develops deferred maintenance plans. Plans and manages shutdown for repairs on a quarterly basis, and renovation project development assistance. Using his/her professional skills, and knowledge in the analysis of central plant, building operation and high voltage equipment, makes decisions on issues which effect the production of electricity, chilled and hot water, conservation of energy, continued service to the campus community, protection of the environment, and University property. Maintains personnel records and initiates personnel actions; possesses high level of interpersonal communication skills; and is able to lead and work in a teamwork environment.

Salary: Annual $79,568.00 - $104,761.00
Total Hours: 7am-3:30pm, M-F
Career Position.
Must possess a valid California Driver's License for vehicle operation and participate in the Employee Pull Notice Program. Must be able to operate a FM vehicle. Must be able to wear PPE.
Final candidate subject to background check.
