Assistant Director


The Assistant Director of the Disability Services Center is responsible for supporting the Director of the DSC in the development and implementation of policies, programs, and services for students with disabilities, including students who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing. The Assistant Director manages a varied and complex set of federally mandated services and programs characteristic of a large public research university with an increasingly diversified student population. The Assistant Director makes recommendations to the Director regarding campus policies, plans, and objectives impacting the lives of students with disabilities. In the absence of the Director, the incumbent is asked to represent the department as a member of the Associate Vice Chancellor's Unit Directors group as well as system-wide Disability Directors meetings and to participate in the development of the department's goals, objectives, policies, and management strategies.

Salary: Annual $75,000.00
Total Hours: 8-5, M-F
Career Position.
Final candidate subject to background check.
Occasional evening and weekend duty.
