  • Review, process and enter data in PeopleSoft for all new hires, terminations, salary changes, transfers and benefit changes (in coordination with OneUSG Connect - Benefits) in a timely and accurate manner according to published payroll schedule; Review own data entry for accuracy; Meet with all new hires for in-processing; Prepare new hire files; Request additional paperwork and facilitates Great Start
  • Provide highest level of customer service to campus employees, department managers, retirees and other AU business units as necessary to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee data; This will include coordination with OneUSG Connect - Benefits; Assist walk-in customers with inquiries in a timely and courteous manner
  • Explain TRS and ORP retirement plan options to new hires; provide information to ensure the new hire can make an informed decision within the allotted time frame of 60 days; Follow up with employee at the 30, 45 and 59 day interval to ensure employee has made a decision and appropriate forms are submitted; Process supplemental retirement information to potential retirees in the absence of the Manager, Retirement & Records Services
  • Complete I-9 forms, verifies I-9 documentation and maintain I-9 files; Submit online investigation requests and assists with new employee background checks for students, temporaries and non-paid affiliates
  • Generate and provide daily queries to colleagues within Benefits & Data Management, Managers and Director; Assist all employees with any questions, claims and/or issues related to their benefits coverage
  • Review employee payroll deductions and process adjustments accordingly; Review pre-payroll queries to ensure all data is accurate prior to pay run
  • Receive, review and process all electronic personnel action requests and audits corresponding employment documents to include staff, NRA's, Students, Postdocs, and temporary for accuracy and completeness
  • Complete AU clearance process for all terminating employees; Complete all other duties as assigned
