Job Description

The University Partnership Coordinator will work on-site at CAST STEM Legacy High School in the San Antonio Independent School District.

Hours are based on the needs of Legacy High School. Travel is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the management and facilitation of education initiatives.
  • Facilitate events and activities.
  • Establishment of professional learning communities (PLCs).
  • Implantation of professional development opportunities.
  • Observation of student teachers and graduate cohort participants
  • Facilitation of data collection efforts
  • Assistance with parental/community involvement initiatives
  • Coordination with Educational Advisory Board for Stewart Elementary
  • Collaboration with program faculty
  • Communication regarding the status of Texas A&M University-San Antonio related projects at CAST STEM Legacy HS
  • Other duties as assigned


Education & Experience:
  • Master's degree
  • Five years of experience in project planning and management, coordinating multiple-site projects, and school administration


KSAs:
  • Knowledge of public school and university operations. In-depth knowledge of education administration. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.


Certification:
  • Texas Teacher Certification
