Human Resources- Panama City Campus
This position will provide FSU Panama City departments and employees with Human Resources services including recruitment, benefits, position management, payroll/time & labor, and labor relations. Responsible for ensuring University HR policies and procedures are adhered to at the branch campus.
Responsible for Human Resources functions for FSU PC staff employees and provides guidance to FSU PC departments on variety of HR functions including, but not limited to, compensation, payroll, and attendance and leave. Also serves as resource to FSU PC departments for position reclassifications.
Responsible for coordination of Benefits for current and new FSU PC employees. Duties include troubleshooting issues with insurance, assisting with the employee tuition scholarship porgram enrollment, and coordination of annual FSU PC Benefits Fair.
Incumbent will work close with Employee & Labor Relations (ELR) regarding FSU PC issues and will serve as a liason between ELR and FSU PC Departments. Duties will including providing notification to departments of employee performance evaluations deadlines and monitoring progress to ensure completion.
Supports Assistant Director of HR- FSUPC with faculty HR functions as needed. Responsible for the completion of special assignment projects to include compilation of financial and other comparison data for reports in support of FSUPC management.
Bachelor's degree and two years of experience related to the duties of this position; or high school diploma/equivalency and six years of experience related to the duties of this position.
(Note: A combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years)
Experience providing HR subject matter expertise and counseling others.
Experience prioritizing and organizing work assignments and utilizing problem solving skills.
Experience working in a detailed oriented environment.
Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply related federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations.
Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply related University policies, procedures, principles, and practices.
Experience working with OMNI/PeopleSoft.
Anticipated Salary Range
Salary commensurate with experience.
This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.
