Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine, Academic Clinician Track
The Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care. Board Certification in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism is required. The successful candidate must have expertise and experience in the treatment of patients with thyroid cancer and thyroid nodules and must be proficient in neck sonography and fine-needle aspiration biopsy. This position also includes some general endocrinology as well. The successful applicants should be outstanding clinicians and will have the opportunity to practice in a thriving academic and clinical environment at the endocrinology and diabetes practice at the University of Pennsylvania. The new physician will be integral member of the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at the University of Pennsylvania and will have an opportunity to teach in the endocrine fellowship and internal medicine residency programs and the Perelman School of Medicine.
