The Department of Biology at Montclair State University invites applications for a tenure-track ASSISTANT PROFESSOR position in ECOSYSTEMS ECOLOGY with an emphasis on modelling and large data set analysis to start Fall 2019. Position responsibilities include teaching general biology, ecology, and related courses and establishing a vigorous, extramurally funded research program involving undergraduate and graduate students. Additionally, the successful candidate should be able to support departmental programs such as the MS concentration in ecology.
Qualifications & Requirements
A Ph.D. in Biology or a relevant field is required. A willingness to provide service to the Department, University and larger professional community is expected. Salary is dependent upon qualifications. Screening will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
Commensurate with experience.
