The Medical Education Office (MEO) in the UW School of Medicine & Public Health works with faculty, staff and students to promote excellence in medical education through curricular innovation, facilitation, management and evaluation. The MEO is comprised of approximately 12 physician faculty, 20 professional staff and 4 administrative support staff. Our main functions include curriculum development, delivery and evaluation, student assessment (clinical & computer-based) and general operations & policy development/implementation related to the curriculum. This position is responsible for providing a broad range of administrative services, specifically in the operational areas of curriculum implementation, office management and event organization as part of the Medical Education Office (MEO).
This position requires an individual who takes initiative, exercises independent judgment and who is able to communicate effectively with faculty, staff and students. The ability to manage short-term and long-term projects with minimal supervision is required. Superior organizational skills are needed as this position is responsible for coordinating and supporting multiple educational projects, activities and events, as well as assisting with human resource, fiscal and office operations. This position is under the general supervision of the Medical Student Education & Services Administrator.

The usual work hours will be Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:45 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The exact work schedule will be set upon hire.
