Additional Information Purpose To provide advanced professional level skills in coordination and administration of seminars and courses for non-degree continuing education programs. Essential Functions Essential Functions Assist Program Coordinators in delivery and execution of long- and short-term international programs. Coordinate and manage executive training courses, seminars, and special events for non-degree continuing education programs on and off campus. Arrange administrative and logistical support, facilities, housing, food, equipment needs, and instructional materials. Negotiate vendor contracts. Work within budget constraints. Supervise student works as appropriate. Act as a liaison between Executive Education, professors, and corporate sponsors, program alumni, and participants. Represent the University in an official capacity. Maintain and update records. Prepare related reports. Collaborate with directors, program coordinators, conference coordinators, and ATT EECC staff on program aspects. Conduct and report needs assessment and program evaluations. Marginal/Incidental functions Other related functions as assigned. Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in a field related to the work to be performed. A combination of two years of experience planning and coordinating conferences, seminars, short-courses or workshops. Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Work as a team member and must be able to work independently with overlapping projects meet deadlines. Proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook. Preferred Qualifications Mandarin speaking. Experience with event planning or executive development programs. Demonstrated excellent communication skills. Experience in a university environment. Working conditions May work around standard office conditions Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation Use of manual dexterity Attire: Business Casual - Please note: Business attire often needed for client programs.

The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
