Licenses: Class "C" Operator's Driver's License. Applicant selected must provide a current three year Driving Record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, must obtain a Texas Driver's License within 30 days after entering Texas as a new resident.Marginal/Incidental functions Pushing, Pulling and Moving a max force of 212 lbs and Lifting and Moving 80 lbs. Must be able to work under stress and as a team member. Other duties as assigned. Required qualifications High school graduation or GED. Five years experience in construction and/or maintenance and repair in a crafts trade of facilities maintenance. The 5 years of experience must include three years of journey level HVAC experience in construction/facilities maintenance and 2 years of other related trades. Licenses: Class "C" Operator's Driver's License. Applicant selected must provide a current three year Driving Record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, must obtain a Texas Driver's License within 30 days after entering Texas as a new resident. Applicant selected must have an acceptable 3 year driving record and maintain an acceptable driving record and valid license throughout employment. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Preferred Qualifications More than five (5) years of journey level HVAC. HVAC experience in air conditioning, heating, controls experience, refrigeration, maintenance and repairs. Licensed by the State of Texas as a Class A or Class B journey level HVAC mechanic. More than 2 years of other related trades. More than five years of journey-level experience in a combination of trades performing installation, repairs, renovations of multiple types construction and systems. More than three years of journey level experience in one or more of the following trades: carpentry, plumbing, and electrical. Commercial and residential renovation experience, experience in maintenance and repair of apartments or residence halls. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to receive, respond, and follow through with written and verbal work related instructions from supervisors, and co-workers. Must successfully complete testing for strength and agility prior to employment. Must be able to work under stress independently and as a team member.

The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
