Primary Function of Organization Unit: The Educational Support Services of the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) provides services and support to teaching faculty members in course revision with a systematic process of instructional design, academic technology research/implementation/support with training opportunities for faculty, research driven pedagogy and instructional strategy for delivering instruction, test/exam services, and course/instructor evaluation.
Essential Job Duties: The team coordinator is responsible for providing a variety of administrative support services to ESS team members and teaching faculty at the College of Veterinary Medicine. Responsibilities include: * scheduling meetings and appointments, * taking and distributing meeting minutes, * purchasing, organizing and maintaining office supplies, * preparing necessary paperwork, * entering and monitoring help requests into our online system, * assisting with course packs preparation, * completing basic learning management tasks, * providing course test/exam services, including: - collecting, formatting, and printing paper-based test materials, - importing and/or entering data for college's transition to electronic testing platforms - distributing test materials to instructors - creating testing packets for students with disability considerations - communicating with exam proctors about scheduling, - creating proctoring packets for exam proctors, and - delivering answer sheets to processing center, and - entering student performance data into appropriate electronic systems. * supporting a combined course/instructor evaluation process twice each semester, including, - gathering information from departmental representatives - compiling and entering evaluation criteria, - exporting results from online survey system, - formatting and distributing results to appropriate CVM faculty and staff.
Department Required Skills: - Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite. - Professional-level verbal and written communication skills. - Highly dependable. - Able to keep confidential/private student information secure. - Experience/Familiarity with online learning management systems.
Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education: - Bachelor's degree preferred. - Experience working in an educational setting.
