Primary Function of Organization Unit: The client services representative provides customer service to NC State University Veterinary Hospital clients acting as the first contact for all potential and current clients. Responsibilities: - Ensure excellent customer service is provided to current and potential clients. - Checks in clients, answers phones, schedules appointments, takes deposits and bills clients for services rendered. - Works closely with internal and external clients to answer questions and address concerns.

The mission of the Veterinary Health Complex is three-fold: 1. Compassionate, state of the art specialty health care 2. Expert clinical instruction for 4th-year veterinary students from the College of Veterinary Medicine 3. Ongoing investigation of innovative techniques and procedures to further advance the field of veterinary medicine The Veterinary Health Complex provides tertiary care for a wide variety of animal species and serves as an environment for training veterinary students, specialty training for interns and residents, and conducts clinical research.
Department Required Skills: - Knowledge of MS Office products, email, fax and copy machines. - Previous client service experience required. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong customer service skills. - Strong organizational skills.
Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education: - Client services experience in a veterinary setting preferred.
