Minimum Education/Experience: A valid non-restricted North Carolina registered nurse (RN) license. If APRN current certification as an APRN or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) required upon employment. DNP, PhD, EdD, or equivalent with graduate degree in nursing, (will consider candidates who have projected date of earned doctorate in May 2020). * Qualifying degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. * Demonstrated nursing scholarship activity. * Effective oral and written communication skills, and effective interpersonal skills to work with a diverse population of students. * Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a diverse faculty and student body.

Job Duties: The East Carolina University, College of Nursing is currently seeking applications for a full-time 12-month faculty position to teach graduate students in the Nurse Anesthesia Program. Teaching will include courses in the didactic, portion of the program. Specifically, will be the director of scholarly project courses, and may have on-line courses. (If an APRN will have clinical obligations). DNP will be considered for fixed term at the title/rank of Clinical Assistant Professor or higher. Candidates with PhD or equivalent and a graduate degree in nursing, may be considered for tenure track at the title/rank of Assistant Professor or higher.
