Parking Coordinator

Job description

Position Summary

The Parking Coordinator reviews written and verbal appeals for parking violations and renders final decision on judgement through appropriate channels; manages leased parking space inventory, applications, and billing accounts; maintains records related to all activities; interprets and provides information on University Ordinances.

Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills

Knowledge normally acquired in the first two or three years of college, technical, vocational or business school; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in performing tasks related to the area of customer service; experience maintaining composure in escalated situations and providing a high level of customer service; experience with and knowledge of parking operations and University Ordinances required.

Desired Qualifications

Demonstrated skills of leadership and communication, a well-developed sense of responsibility, sensitivity to individual differences, a positive self-concept, and an obvious interest and enthusiasm for working with students are desirable characteristics for professional, pre-professional and paraprofessional staff members.
