Position Summary: The Division of Global Women's Health in the Department of Ob-Gyn supports faculty conducting research studies in Zambia, Malawi, South Africa and other international locations. The Research Project Manager will be responsible for the planning, operational management and oversight of international research studies, from proposal through closeout, for two (faculty) Principal Investigators. The Research Project Manager will lead planning and oversight of study implementation for multiple projects and monitor regulatory and award compliance.

Education Requirements: Master's degree in public health or related field required, *OR*, for candidates demonstrating comparable independent research productivity, will accept a relevant undergraduate degree and 5 or more years of experience in research management or international project management.

Qualification and Experience: - At least 2 years of experience in research management - International experience preferred - Training in good clinical practices and protection of human subjects - Ability to effectively communicate in a cross-cultural environment - Operational management skills needed to plan, coordinate and complete studies - Good writing and presentation skills - Ability to organize and motivate others - Familiarity with the maternal and child health field - Interest in and ability to work effectively with low-resourced countries, with respect and cultural sensitivity. - Willing to travel internationally for at least 2 10-day trips per year
