DIRECTOR OF STRATEGIC INITIATIVES & PARTNERSHIPS
Duties: Reporting directly to the Dean, the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships partners with him to play a vital role in the development, approval, implementation, management, and evaluation of his strategic initiatives and priorities for ASC in support of the School's mission, vision, and long- and short-term plans. This high-visibility, high-accountability role builds and manages strategic relationships with the executive, administrative, and academic leadership of ASC and Penn, as well as with external stakeholders. Serves as a proxy for the Dean, making and communicating high-level decisions on his behalf, ensuring the clear and accurate delivery of key messages to faculty, staff, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications: A Master's Degree or more and 5 years to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Must have a proven track-record of building partnerships to deliver collaborative, impactful programs and initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to synthesize information, prioritize goals, and drive results with a high sense of urgency.
Strategic and project management capabilities coupled with strong analytic, financial, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to build support across a wide range of stakeholders; create a strong network of relationships among peers, internal partners, external constituencies and decision makers.
Must be a pragmatic problem solver and forward thinker.
Must have excellent written, verbal, and inter-personal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and activities, as well as manage multiple and competing priorities under tight deadlines.
Proven ability to analyze complex problems and communicate effectively with multiple internal and external constituents.
Demonstrated ability to design, manage and lead teams and individuals to manage multiple priorities.
Extraordinary relationship building and people skills required.
