General Summary
The Latin American and Latino/a Studies Program invites applications for a part-time, non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of Instructional Assistant Professor.

The successful candidate will teach two sections (one per semester) of the course LAL/SOC 109 Introduction to US Latino Populations.

These positions are represented by the non-tenure track faculty association and may have associated dues or fees.

Required Qualifications
1. A Ph.D. in the Social Sciences, Education or a closely related field. ABDs will be considered.
2. At least one year of teaching experience.
3. State law mandates demonstrable oral proficiency in the English language as a requirement for this position.
4. If this position is Security Sensitive or if you are subject to a criminal background investigation based on University policy, employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation. You may not begin work until the criminal background investigation results have been received and cleared by Human Resources.
