Job Summary: Come explore the exciting world of pathology! The Department of Veterinary Pathobiology at the Center for Veterinary Health Sciences (CVHS), Oklahoma State University (OSU) in beautiful Stillwater, OK invites applicants for an anatomic pathology residency training position. We are seeking a highly motivated, hard-working and dependable individual who has a DVM or equivalent degree, a great sense of humor, and a keen interest in pursuing a career in anatomic pathology. This is a full-time position annually renewed for up to 3 years. Seven anatomic pathologists and three clinical pathologists are on faculty with a wide range of expertise who recognize the importance of an enriched learning environment and understand that the ultimate goal is board certification by the American College of Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP). In addition to the extensive and varied diagnostic case material presented to the Oklahoma Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory (OADDL) each week, there is abundant archived material available for ACVP board preparation as well as creative scholarly activities. Each year, residents have opportunities to participate in and attend department-sponsored, local, and national meetings designed to enrich their learning experience. Start date is July 31, 2019. Salary is $32,600 per year plus a benefits package that includes health insurance and fringe benefits.
