Position Details
The Student Affairs Department at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire a Student Services Associate to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

* Serve as a resource to student governments, class leaders, student organizations and members.
* Maintain historical and current records on registered organizations and governments.
* Maintains student organization handbook and assists constituents in the official student organization registration process.
* Serve as a co-advisor to all of the student government associations.
* Manage financial accounts for classes, governments and organizations including procurement card, reconciliations, purchasing requests, travel and reimbursements.
* Serve as a resource and provide annual advisor training to faculty and staff.
* Plan, implement, and evaluate programs that meet the developmental needs of the students in all academic disciplines including but not limited to Orientation and Online Orientation.
* Plan, implement, and assess institutional student events including, but not limited to Welcome Week.
* Collaborate with and serve as a liaison to other university offices for programming efforts related to each academic program.
* Serves as direct supervisor to student workers, orientation leaders and graduate orientation intern.
* Meet with students, faculty, staff, families and others for information dissemination and to address concerns.
* Work as a team member with other Student Development Staff.
* Serve on university committees as appropriate.
* Represent the university through professional organizations and events as appropriate.
* Contribute to annual report of campus programs.
* Evaluate and develop summary reports on all programs/activities
* Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and one year of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:

* Master's degree in Higher Education with training on student affairs related theory and practice or other related masters level training.
* Three years' experience in related field.
* Flexibility/Adaptability.

* Supervisory skills and teambuilding skills.
