Primary Function of Organization Unit: The Graduate School provides leadership for graduate education at NC State. This includes leadership in recruiting, admitting, enrolling, retaining, and graduating master's and doctoral students. Graduate School personnel oversee the quality of graduate education, develop and implement policies and procedures, interact with external constituencies, and provide valuable services related to graduate education.
Essential Job Duties: This position will serve as an admissions processor for the Graduate School, and assist with inquiries that are received by phone, email, walk-in, chat, and other online inquires. They will have the primary responsibility to sit at the front desk to assist visitors to the Graduate School. They will also be responsible for scanning and matching documents received in the Graduate School. They will cross-train with the other Admissions Processors to process official transcripts and fee payments. This position will serve as back-up to the International Admissions Processor, and will help review international documents and assist in issuing visa documentation.

Ability to effectively communicate through a variety of media including phone, in-person, email, chat/IM, etc. - Ability to effectively use and learn new office technology/equipment to accomplish a wide variety of admissions and office tasks. - Ability to professionally interact with a wide variety of individuals, customers, students, and co-workers. - Strong organization and time management skills.
Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education: - Prefer 1 year of experience in a university setting. - Familiarity with Google productivity software such as Gmail, GoogleDocs, Sheets, etc. - Experience in SLATE Admissions System.
