Program Coordinator II

Job description

The position will coordinate the activities of the Appalachian Career Training in Oncology (ACTION) Program.

Activities will include: website development and maintenance; event scheduling; student recruiting and selection; student enrollment (including aiding in completion of required employment on-boarding, research and clinical observation paperwork, and room and board processes); workshop logistics for high school students and course enrollment for undergraduates.

Will also involve coordination of travel arrangements for participants and their families; planning, development, and implementation of the evening and weekend social activities for the participants; oversight of on-campus safety.

Coordination of off-campus engagement of participants through the proposed outreach activities; and facilitation/coordination/leadership of the student tracking, program evaluation and dissemination objectives.
