RESEARCH PROJECT MANAGER A
Duties: The Project Manager A will report directly to the Senior Project Manager and will assist in the oversight of the Penn Memory Center portfolio of industry and federally funded research, focused on intervention trials and biomarker validation studies. The Project Manager A is responsible for operationalizing study protocols and procedures, managing and conducting recruitment, screening, enrollment, and follow up for all study participants. Responsible for providing training and supervision to research coordinators and research assistants. Works closely with the Senior Project Manager, PIs and other study leadership to plan and implement study procedures, collect and monitor data and report study progress internally and to study sponsors. Responsible for IRB and other committee submissions and correspondence and follows good clinical practices for conducting human subjects research. The Project Manager A is responsible to ensure self and staff compliance and cooperation with institutional offices and initiatives including but not limited to OCR, the CTMS, research billing compliance and similar.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Master's degree in related field preferred. Prior experience managing staff and projects strongly preferred. Strong organizational skills; demonstrable skills and knowledge of clinical research operations and GCP are required; previous experience with EPIC/PennChart will be considered a plus; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
