Posting Summary:
The University of Virginia Department of American Studies seeks applications to fill a non-tenure track Instructional position for Spring 2019 semester. The course, a 3000-level class for 24 undergraduates, must incorporate interdisciplinary methods, involve multiple media, and fulfill requirements for our concentrations in both Race and Ethnicity and in Popular and Visual Culture.

The Lecturer must hold a Ph.D. in American Studies or other relevant field (Linguistics, Media Studies, English, History, Art History). Candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching. Compensation will take the form of wages.
