Scope of Job:
  • Provide an excellent level of customer service
  • Screen visitors and telephone calls
  • Receive, sort and distribute mail
  • Send and respond to emails
  • Make outgoing calls for assigned work assignments
  • Answer incoming calls and provide a high quality level of service
  • Attend to chat website system while in a call
  • Research, study and understand graduate program requirements
  • Be flexible to work a pre-determined schedule between the hours of operation for GradCentral and other pre-scheduled Graduate College events
  • Be able to work between the hours of Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    Minimum Qualifications:
    1. Currently admitted to the Graduate School
    2. Be in good academic standing
    3. Be registered full-time for the respective semester (nine semester credit hours during the fall
    semester, nine semester credit hours during spring semester, six semester credit hours during the
    summer session(s)), or in the required number of semester credit hours to fulfill the only remaining requirements on the degree plan.

    Discipline Specific Required Qualifications:
    • Be able to multi-task
    • Ability to learn various operational systems.
    • Work well under pressure and be able to meet deadlines

    Preferred Qualification:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Business Administration preferred.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
