Coordinator

Job description

Albion College invites applications for the Coordinator within the Gerald R. Ford Institute for Leadership in Public Policy and Service. As a member of the Ford Institute’s administrative staff, the Coordinator provides support to ensure optimal effectiveness of the program.  The Coordinator provides a first point of contact for students and visitors and performs organizational administrative duties as assigned. Must exhibit an appreciation of, a sensitivity to, and respect for a diverse environment, inclusive of students, faculty and staff of many social, economic, cultural, ideological, racial and ethnic backgrounds.

FLSA Classification: Salaried / Non-Exempt

Status: Full-Time

Duration: 11 months per year (August 1 – June 30)

Qualifications:  

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or higher preferred
  • Experience as an employee in an academic setting preferred
  • Must have a valid, or be eligible to obtain, a Michigan driver’s license and clearing initial and periodic driving record checks
