Patient Relations Assistant

Job description

Basic responsibilities include answering all incoming call for the Ky Clinic Pediatric Dentistry Clinic as well as assisting within other Clinical call queues, as needed. This position answers new patient and established patient calls, assisting with directions, scheduling, canceling, helps answer basic billing questions, confirmation of appointments, share information about the College, specialties and clinic options and to assist with additional office tasks as needed.

Physical Requirements

Working at a computer for extended periods of time.


Monday - Friday, day shift.


Multi-Line phone, customer service focus, teamwork, effective written & verbal communication, empathy, judgment, problem solving, organizational knowledge, attention to detail, accuracy, computer literacy, 90% accuracy on skills assessment, 90% accuracy on audit, computer literacy, proficiency with sequential numbers, sensitive to patient privacy.

Preferred Education/Experience

Experience with multi-line phone system and patient scheduling in a Medical or Dental setting highly preferred.
