Admissions Officer II

Job description



This position directly supports Enrollment Management's and the University's goals to admit and matriculate a diverse and well-qualified freshman class. This position will also have responsibility for liaison between Admission Operations and the Recruitment Team to ensure that excellent communication is maintained. This position will be responsible for answering inquiries from the Recruitment team in regard to application status of students. Will also help, as needed, with the "see blue." U Orientations for new students.

Physical Requirements

lifting, pushing or pulling of objects up to 25 lbs. Sitting for long periods of time.



Shift

Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (40 hours/week).



Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

MS Windows, MS Office (including word, outlook, Excel), SAP (SLCM) experience preferred. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and decision making ability.

Preferred Education/Experience

Prior work with high school students preferred. Bachelors degree plus one year of related experience is also preferred.
