Guest Services-OPS/Evening Operations Coordinator

The Guest Services area encourages engagement and supports involvement through the proper management of event spaces and delivery of the highest quality information and logistical support to both internal and external stakeholders.
Assists with the evening operations of Guest Services by providing oversight of and support for events in spaces managed within the Division of Student Affairs.
Maintains daily inventory of all audio-visual equipment and furniture utilized in events spaces making sure equipment is properly checked out, retrieved, and stored in the appropriate places.
Management of evening operations and tasks to be completed by student employees including furniture and AV setup in addition to information desk operations.
Ensures space is set with furniture and audio-visual equipment according to customer specifications.
Serves as primary point of contact for customers using each space while on duty.
Makes every effort to provide total and complete customer satisfaction for each and every user of the Oglesby Union. Attends and provides support to all events designated with VIP status.
High school diploma or equivalency and at least one (1) year of prior work experience.
Good leadership, interpersonal, and communications skills
Excellent customer service, planning, and time management skills.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends
Demonstrated experience in hospitality management,
Direct audio-visual experience a plus.
Willingness to work as a team member
Anticipated Salary Range
The hourly rate is $12.00
This is an OPS/temporary Job.
The weekly work commitment is 32.5 - 35 hours per week: Monday-Friday, 4:30pm-11pm with occasional weekend hours required.
