Job Description:

Job Summary

Responsible for performing tasks in preparation for the summer camp
program focusing on STEAM related skills.

Job Responsibilities
  • Proactively coordinates student drop off/pick up times with parents, escorts students to and from the drop off/pick up location, and ensures all parent/guardian pick-up forms are completed accurately and entirely
  • Escorts students to designated room(s) and ensures they sign/initial all required forms to be forwarded to Instructors
  • Monitors the class to assist as needed ensuring students are never left alone
  • Maintains constant contact with Instructor to avoid any potential student issues
  • Immediately reports any student issues to leadership
  • Completes and submits web entry time cards on a weekly basis
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED and demonstrated experience working with
    parents and children
  • Demonstrated experience using hand tools, 3D printers, laser engravers and
    other tools commonly found in a maker space

  • Possess basic knowledge of fundamental STEAM curriculum concepts, practices and procedures with the ability to apply in varied situations as it pertains to the departmental focus
  • Possess excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Possess strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work accurately with great attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize/handle multiple tasks and work with deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Possess excellent customer service skills and proven ability to develop and sustain productive customer relationships
  • Possess sensitivity to appropriately respond to the needs of a diverse population

Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience with fab lab equipment including 3D printers, laser engravers and CNC routers
