This position will serve as the primary point of contact for students and prospective students, parents, and the community. Main duties are reception and office support functions, including but not limited to answering phones, processing the mail, and other types of inquiries for Admissions, Student Data Services, and Financial Aid offices, data entry, and other clerical tasks. It is important that the person in this position has knowledge of all functions in the department in order to communicate and/or process information or documents. Accessing information accurately and timely for responding to the needs of the public, especially students, is crucial. Broad-based knowledge of the university and its programs and services is essential.A Bachelor's Degree and 1-2 years of administrative and office management experience, an Associate's degree and 3-5 years of administrative and office management experience, or a high school diploma and 5 years or more of administrative and office management experience is preferred. Candidate with high level of reception, computer skills, communication skills, knowledge of the Banner system and organizational skills is preferred. Ability to work with a diverse group of people, work as a team member, and handle multiple projects and assignments.
