Assistant Professor of History - 19th-Century U.S. History

Job description

Valparaiso University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor to begin August, 2019.  The successful applicant will teach courses on the American Revolution and the Civil War, as well as the University's first-year Humanities Core and elective courses in the applicant's specialty.  A Ph.D. in United States history or closely related field is required; A.B.D. candidates who expect to complete the Ph.D. by Fall 2019 will be considered.  Submit letter of application, c.v., and three letters of recommendation to Dr. Heath W.
