Management: The Department of Management at Miami University invites applicants for an assistant professor, tenure-track position to teach in the area of Supply Chain & Operations Management; maintain an active research agenda; advise students; provide service to the institution.  The position will begin August 2019.  Faculty in the department contribute to the central elements of the departmental and divisional mission by combining outstanding instruction with excellent research

Required: Doctorate in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, or closely related field by date of appointment; excellence in teaching. 

While not required, consideration may be given to candidates with accepted/published research in highly regarded journals or working papers or manuscripts under review.

The School of Business: The Farmer School of Business offers a bachelor’s degree, a Professional (evening) MBA degree, and master’s degrees in accounting and economics. The Department: The Department of Management graduates approximately 150 students per year. There are 19 tenure-track and 7 non-tenure-track faculty members on the Oxford campus. Miami is a target recruiting school for all of the large consulting firms and many major corporations. The Community: Oxford, Ohio is a classic college town located 35 miles northwest of Cincinnati. It is a one-hour drive to either the Cincinnati or Dayton airport and is a half-hour drive to major shopping malls.
